Fritz Machlup, 1902-1983
Economist al scolii austriace. A studiat si si-a luat doctoratul la Universitatea din Viena. A emigrat in Statele Unite unde a fost profesor la universitatile din Buffalo, John Hopkins, Princeton si New York. Specialist in organizarea industriala si economia internationala, analizeaza comportamentul intreprinzatorului in lumea reala si denunta diferentele acestui comportament fata de previziunile teoriei economice.
